  poor stewart.  no doctor or hospital would help him with the c/t they caused. I have since found out that he apparently commited
 suicide shortly after this video.  I am trying to verify. If Not, Trying to get him to this web site. It wasn't even a c/t from the
 newer 'designer' automatic FU forever benzos like ativan.

Jim who died the guy in the video? Are you sure of this? His account was logged into 18 hours ago on you tube.  I hope he is still with us.  But benzos do cause death for some.  Sad

2007-2008 1 mg K/day - 6 week taper = BEYOND HELL
Various sleep meds, stablizers, a/d's 25 years. After 4 years, last dose ambien 12/5!! 
CURRENTLY on Lamictal 300mg, reduced from 400. Holding for now.
19 MONTHS BENZO FREE 8/4/2010! Symptoms still with me as of 8/4/10:  chronic back pain/drumming, blurred R eye, burning mouth, screaming tinnitus, frequent headaches. Loss of muscle mass, physio anxiety, cog deficits and memory all worse now than a year ago. AM ABOUT 75% BACK TO NORMAL AFTER 19 MONTHS (is this good or bad??)

Poor kid.. things must be bad to record your plee for help and post it onto youtube of all places.
CTing 15mg of Valium after 6 months use, isn't good. I was nuts after CTing 5mg after 4 months.
I know what I went through, and I wouldn't wish that on anyone, I'm glad i was able to eventually
reinstate, and taper, which he is not..

I wish him well, and hope he came through it ok.

Was on 5mg Valium for 4 months, Cold turkey'ed unfortunately, and had to reinstate and taper off over about 3 months.
Had withdrawals from the CT all through the taper, and had withdrawals for about another 9 months after being Benzo free.

Klonopin 6 plus years.. Up to 4mgs.  Dry cut to 2mgs, water titrated to 1.5mgs, cross to 30mgs of valium, sick, cut to 17.5 mgs sick, updosed to 20mgs, sick.  Detox 9days.  Off Nov27th 2009.  Not sick anymore Smiley

Benzo History Timeline
1988: 8 years on .5 mgs Xanax (tolerance w/d)
1996: Approx. 9 years on .5 mgs klonopin (tolerance w/d)
2005: Approx. 3 years on 5 mgs valium (tolerance w/d)
Aug.2008: * Tapered valium from 5 mgs to 2.5 mgs (stayed there for a month)
   *Jumped off Valium at 2.5 mgs (C/T - huge mistake/plz don't do this)
   * Also c/t 10 mgs lexapro (3 years) when I came off valium

I just checked his youtube account, he hasn't committed suicide, in fact hes made loads of vids since, one was a month ago, and wasn't related to benzos. He must have recovered.

Used valium on and off for 3 years, didnt use daily and didnt develop addiction, could stop and start. Stared again in December 10-15mg daily for 3 months and accidentally went into addiction mode. Freaked out and spoke with the doc and went cold turkey. Spent 3 weeks out of my mind then was told to reinstate at 2.5mg daily. 3 weeks later built a tolerance and started freaking out again. Spoke to a proper shrink and reinstated at 15mg daily but still get freaky moments and wooziness now and again. Then went up by 30, realising that over the years there was no 'set' pattern, I'd down them like smarties when I wanted to sleep. Now down to 26 of the crap. Shrink is benzo wise and goes by ashton method, gonna taper over 6 months till I'm free of this.

Not doing so well. Sad

My daily dosage was around 30mgs of Clorazepate. (20mgs diazepam)
19th of June started Taper at 15mgs Clorazepate (10mgs Diazepam)
